The South East Entrepreneurship Development Center (SEEDC) is one of six Entrepreneurship Development Centres in the country established by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

With headquarters in Umuahia, Abia State, the Center’s core responsibility is to train aspiring entrepreneurs to become self-employed and employers of labor. SEEDC provides insight into the tools, techniques and framework for functional enterprise development and in achieving this, the Center is:

  • Raising a new class of entrepreneurs who serve as catalysts for the industrialization of Nigeria.
  • Linking trainees to financial institutions and other sources for capital to access funds.
  • Generating employment opportunities for Nigerians in accordance with relevant Government policies.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSIONS
First Quadmester April – June, 2016

STUDENT CHARGE

The student is responsible for his/her own success in the learning process. He/she should be actively involved in the learning process and should behave appropriately for a learning environment.
Student Responsibilities:
 Student is responsible for ensuring he/she attends the Quadmester Matriculation where the Student Charge is delivered.
 Student is responsible for attending class every day.
 Student is responsible for arriving in class on time.
 Student is responsible for remaining quiet and on task during class time so as not to disrupt the learning of other students.
 Student is responsible for bringing to class all necessary materials (book, paper, pen, pencil, calculator, etc.)
 Student is responsible for taking proper care of his/her learning materials borrowed from the Center and returning it as at when due.
 Student is responsible for completing all assignments, including quizzes and tests, and for handing them in to Faculty, on-site or remote site.
 Student is responsible for participating in all class discussions and question-and answer sessions.
 Student is responsible for arranging to take make-up quizzes and tests and for arriving at the make-up session at the appropriate time.
 Student is responsible to research and write and defend a Bankable Business Plan in partial fulfilment for graduation
 Student is responsible for communicating any concerns to the Faculty and/or Dean of Studies.
 Student is responsible for ensuring he/she attends the Quadmester Graduation where the Diplomas are awarded
*A signed copy of this Student Charge MUST be duly COUNTER-SIGNED and deposited with the Dean of Studies.
